  • A lock code is used to unlock the tablet as well as confirm your identity for certain features and apps

    Swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 2.

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Lock Screen

  • 4.

    Tap Screen Lock Type

  • 5.

    Tap the type of screen lock you would like to use. In this example, we will select PIN

  • 6.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue. The PIN must be between 4 and 16 digits

  • 7.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK. This must match the PIN entered in the previous step

    Select your lock screen notification preferences and then tap Done

  • 9.

    Tap Secure Lock Settings

  • 10.

    Enter your PIN and then tap Continue

  • 11.

    Tap Lock Automatically

  • 12.

    Tap the duration you would like the tablet to lock after the screen turns off

  • 13.

    To lock the tablet, press the Power/Lock Key

  • 14.

    To unlock the tablet, press the Power/Lock Key again

  • 15.

    Swipe the screen upwards

  • 16.

    Enter your PIN and then tap OK
