Finding Your Phone Remotely Using Samsung Dive

- Samsung Dive is a service that allows you to locate and manage your phone from a web browser. You must have a Samsung account.
- 1. From the home screen tap Settings
Note: If the Settings icon has been removed from the home screen, you can access it by tapping the Menu key and then Settings - 2. Scroll down and tap Security
- 3. Tap Remote Controls
- 4. Tap OK
- 5. Tap the + icon beside Add Account
- 6. Tap Sign In
Note: If you do not have a Samsung account, tap Create New Account and follow the steps - 7. Enter the email address associated with your Samsung account and then tap Next
- 8. Enter your password and then tap Sign In
- 9. Tap the status switch beside Remote Controls
- 10. In a web browser, go to www.samsungdive.com
- 11. Click Sign In
- 12. Click inside the E-mail field
- 13. Enter your email address
- 14. Click inside the Password field and enter your password
- 15. Click Sign In
- 16. If you have more than one device assigned to your Samsung Dive account, click the device you wish to access
- 17. Click Find My Mobile
- 18. The current location of your phone will be displayed on the map
- 19. You can track the location of your device by Clicking Start Tracking. This will note the location of your phone every 15 minutes for 12 hours
- 20. To lock your phone, click Lock My Mobile
- 21. If you would like to send a message to be displayed on your phone, enter it in to the Message text box
- 22. Enter a mobile number that can be called from your phone once it is locked
- 23. Enter an Unlock PIN to be entered to unlock your phone
- 24. Click Lock
- 25. When you retrieve your phone, tap Unlock
- 26. Enter the Unlock PIN and then tap OK
- 27. To ring your phone to help you locate it, click Ring My Mobile
- 28. Click Ring
- 29. Your phone will ring for 1 minute. Swipe the X to the left or right to stop the ringing
- 30. To wipe your phone, click Wipe Out My Mobile
- 31. Select whether you would like to wipe the removable storage (Memory Card and SIM Card) or perform a factory data reset. Any data stored on the area to be wiped will be permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved
- 32. Click the check box beside I agree to the terms and conditions
- 33. Enter your Samsung password into the Login Password field
- 34. Click Wipe Out
- 35. Click OK
