  • Notifications are small messages from apps or the operating system alerting you to new information

    To view your notifications, swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap on a notification to open the app it pertains to

  • 3.

    To delete a notification, swipe it all the way to the left

  • 4.

    To delete all notifications, tap Clear

  • 5.

    To disable notifications for an app, tap and hold on a notification

  • 6.

    Tap the status switch to disable notifications

  • 7.

    To snooze notifications for an app, swipe the notification part way to the left

  • 8.

    Tap the Snooze icon

  • 9.

    Tap how long you would like notifications for that app to be snoozed for

  • 10.

    Tap Done

    To change your preferences for an app’s notifications, swipe it part way to the left

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 13.

    Tap a status switch to turn a setting on or off

  • 14.

    Some apps enable you to perform actions directly from the notification. For example, you can reply to messages from the notification for a message. To do this, tap Messages

    Tap Reply

  • 16.

    Enter the text of your message and then tap Send
