Using Google Lens
Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys
Google Lens uses the camera to identify objects and provide information about them

Tap and hold the Home Key

Tap the Lens icon
If you haven't already set up Google Assistant, you will need to do so now - 3.
Tap Continue

Tap Get Started
- 5.
Select the account you wish to use and then tap OK
- 6.
Objects Google Lens recognizes will be indicated with a coloured dot
- 7.
Tap a Dot to view information about the object
- 8.
You can view further information related to the object such as images and YouTube videos by tapping on the links
- 9.
Google Lens can also recognize text. Frame the text within the screen and then tap on the Dot on the text you wish to view
- 10.
Tap the text
- 11.
You can add the text to your clipboard by tapping Copy
- 12.
You can view a translation of the text by tapping Translate
- 13.
The translation will be displayed
By default, Google lens will automatically detect the source language and translate it into the phone’s system language. If you would like to change one of the languages, tap on it and select a new language
