  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Lock Screen and Security
  • 4. Tap Screen Lock Type
  • 5. Tap your desired screen unlock method. In this example, we will select PIN
  • 6. Enter your PIN and then tap Continue
  • 7. Confirm your PIN and then tap OK
  • 8. Select if you would like your notifications to be displayed when the phone is locked. In this example, we will select Hide Content
  • 9. Tap Done
  • 10. Tap Secure Lock Settings
  • 11. Tap Lock Automatically
  • 12. Tap the duration after the phone goes to sleep after which you would like the phone to lock
  • 13. When the phone locks, press the Power/Lock Key
  • 14. Enter your PIN and then tap OK
