    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

    Tap the Settings icon

    Scroll down and tap Security

    Tap Fingerprint

  • 5.

    Tap Continue

    Tap your desired backup screen lock method. We will select Fingerprint + PIN

  • 7.

    Select whether you would like a PIN to be required to start the phone. In this example, we will choose No thanks

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 10.

    Select your lock screen notification preference and then tap Done

  • 11.

    Place a finger or thumb on the fingerprint sensor

  • 12.

    Tap Next

    Tap Next

  • 14.

    Place a finger or thumb on the fingerprint sensor

  • 15.

    Continue to lift and place your finger or thumb on the sensor until your fingerprint has been added

  • 16.

    If you would like to add a second fingerprint, tap Add Another. Otherwise, tap Next

  • 17.

    Tap OK

  • 18.

    To rename the fingerprint, tap Fingerprint

  • 19.

    Enter your PIN and then tap the arrow

  • 20.

    Tap Finger 1

  • 21.

    Enter a name for the finger and then tap OK

  • 22. When your phone locks, place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to unlock it
