  • You must have BlackBerry Link installed on your computer. The first time you connect your phone to your computer, it will give you the option to install it.
  • 1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable
  • 2. BlackBerry Link should launch automatically. If it does not, locate it on your computer and open it
  • 3. Click Username
  • 4. Enter the email address associated with your BlackBerry ID
  • 5. Click Password
  • 6. Enter your password and then click Sign In
  • 7. Click Finish
  • 8. Click Start Using My Device
  • 9. Click your phone in the side bar
  • 10. To back up your phone, click Back Up & Restore
  • 11. Click Back Up Device
  • 12. To restore your phone from a previous backup, click Back Up & Restore
  • 13. Click Restore Device
  • 14. Select from which backup you'd like to restore your device from
  • 15. Click Full Restore or Custom Restore. In this example we'll click Full Restore
  • 16. Click Restore
  • 17. Click Yes. This will replace all data on the phone with data from the backup
