  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Lock Screen
    If you already have a PIN set up, you can skip to step 10
  • 4. Tap Screen Lock
  • 5. Tap the unlock method you would like to use. In this example, we will select PIN
  • 6. Enter a PIN and then tap Continue
  • 7. Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK
  • 8. Select what types of notifications you would like to be displayed on the lock screen. We will select Hide Sensitive Notification Content
  • 9. Tap Done
  • 10. Tap Smart Lock
  • 11. Tap Trusted Places
  • 12. Tap the addresses you would like to add to your trusted places
  • 13. Tap Turn on this location
  • 14. To set a different location as a trusted place, tap Add Trusted Place
  • 15. Tap the Search icon
  • 16. Enter the address you would like to use and then tap the Search icon
  • 17. Tap the location's address to set it as a trusted location
  • 18. Tap OK
  • 19. As long as you are within 80 metres of the set locations, your phone will remain unlocked
  • 20. To manually lock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key
  • 21. Tap the Lock icon to lock the phone
  • 22. Once you have locked the phone, to unlock it again, press the Power/Lock Key
  • 23. Swipe the Lock icon upwards
  • 24. Enter your PIN and then tap the check mark
