  • Note: The component cable which comes with your terminal (with green, blue and red ends) transmits a high-definition video signal to your television and the red and white RCA cables transmit the audio signal to the television.
  • 1.

    Connect the Videotron coaxial cable into "cable in" located at the back of the terminal

  • 2. Plug the electric power cord in the back of the terminal and into a power outlet near your television
  • 3. Insert the component cable (with green, blue and red ends) into the outputs of the same colour at the back of the terminal, marked as Y, Pb, and Pr
  • 4. Insert the other end of the component cable (with the green, blue and red ends) into the inputs of the same colour marked as Y, Pb, and Pr at the back of your television or home theatre system, depending on the configuration you have.


    Note : Ensure that you do not plug the red cable into the sound input marked "Audio R"

  • 5. Insert the RCA audio cables into the red and white audio outputs (L / R) of your terminal
  • 6. Insert the other end of the RCA audio cables into the red and white (L / R) inputs of your television or home theatre system
  • 7. Turn on the Vidéotron terminal by pressing the CBL button on the Videotron remote control
  • 8. Using the remote control of your television, select the appropriate input/source (e.g. input 1/2/3 or component 1/2/3)

    Note: If you are using a home theatre system, make sure that its output is connected to your television for both audio and video. If you have problems connecting the wires to your home theatre system, please consult your home theatre system's user guide.
