    Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

    You can choose to restore your apps and data from an old phone or set up the phone as new. In this example, we will select Set up as new

    If you would like to connect to Wi-Fi, tap the network you wish to join

    If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect

    Tap Email or Phone

    If you don’t have a Google account tap More Options and follow the instructions to set one up

    Enter the email address associated with your Google account and then tap Next

    Enter your password and then tap Next

    Tap I Agree

    Tap Add Fingerprint

  • 14.

    Select a backup unlock method. We will choose Fingerprint + PIN

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

    Place a finger on the fingerprint sensor

  • 18.

    Lift and replace your finger until your fingerprint has been successfully read

    If you would like to add more fingerprints, tap Add Another. Otherwise, tap Done

    Scroll down and tap Agree

    To view an introduction to Google Assistant, tap Next

    Scroll down and tap Yes, I’m In

    Tap Get Started

  • 24.

    Follow the instructions to set up Google Assistant

    Select whether you would like to have Trusted Voice turned on and then tap Finished

    Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to confirm your identity

    If you would like to sign into Xperia Services, tap the sign in method you would like to use. In this example, we will select Sign in with Google

    Tap Next

    Tap All Set
