    From the home screen, tap Messaging

    Tap the Compose icon

    Enter the first few letters of the name of the contact you wish to send the message to and then tap their name in the displayed list

    To send the message to a number that isn’t in your contacts, tap 123

  • 5.

    Enter the number

  • 6.

    Tap Write Message

  • 7.

    Enter the text of your message and then tap the Send icon
