  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap More
  • 4. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 6. Tap OK
    Wi-Fi will be turned off while a hotspot is active
  • 7. Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings
  • 8. Tap Configure Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 9. Tap the Name field
  • 10. Enter a name for the network and then tap Password. This is the name that other devices will see when searching for your network
  • 11. Enter a password and then tap Return. This is the password that must be entered on devices wishing to connect to your network
  • 12. Tap Save
  • 13. To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 14. Tap Hotspot
