  • 1. From the home screen, tap the Microphone icon in the Google search bar

    Note: If the Google search bar has been removed, you can add it from the widgets screen
  • 2. To call a contact or a phone number, say Call followed by the name or number you wish to call
  • 3. The number will be dialed
  • 4. To send a text message, say Text followed by the contact's name or number and then speak the text of your message
  • 5. Tap Send
  • 6. To perform a Google search, say the term you wish to search for, e.g. "Montréal Weather"
  • 7. Your results will be displayed
  • 8. To get directions to an address or location, say Directions To followed by the address or location
  • 9. Google Maps will launch displaying your directions
  • 10. To get GPS navigation to an address or location, say Navigate To followed by the address or location
  • 11. The GPS application will launch
