  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Display
  • 4. Tap Brightness
  • 5. By default, the brightness is set automatically based on the ambient light. To deactivate this, tap the check box beside Adapt to Lighting Conditions
  • 6. Drag the slider to adjust the brightness
  • 7. When you reach the desired brightness level, tap OK
