  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap More
  • 4. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portal Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 6. Tap OK
    Enabling a portable hotspot will disable Wi-Fi
  • 7. Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings
  • 8. Tap Configure Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 9. Tap the field below Network Name
  • 10. Enter a name for the hotspot and then tap Next. This is the name that other devices will see when searching for a hotspot
  • 11. Enter a password and then tap Done. This is the password that must be entered on other devices who wish to connect to the network
  • 12. Tap Save
  • 13. To disable the Wi-Fi hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 14. Tap the Hotspot icon
