  • Smart Connect triggers predetermined actions at a certain time or when specific devices are connected to the phone
  • 1. From the home screen, tap the Application Launcher
  • 2. Swipe the screen to the left
  • 3. Tap Smart Connect
  • 4. Tap OK
  • 5. In the Events tab, tap the status switch beside the event you wish to activate. In this example, we will select Music On The Go. This will activate the Walkman app when headphones are attached
  • 6. Tap the event
  • 7. You can change what happens when you attach headphones. Tap Edit
  • 8. Tap the right-facing arrow
  • 9. Tap Start Application
  • 10. Tap the application you would like to open when the headphones are connected
  • 11. Tap Play Tracks
  • 12. Tap what you would like to happen when the Walkman app launches
  • 13. Tap Play Tracks in the End Actions section
  • 14. Tap what you would like to happen when the headphones are disconnected
  • 15. Tap Finish
  • 16. When you connect headphones, the Walkman app will launch and music will start playing
  • 17. When you disconnect your headphones, the music will pause
