  • You can use your phone as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot to allow other devices to connect to the Internet using your phone's mobile data connection

    Swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap the Settings icon

    Tap More

    Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot

    Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

    Tap OK

    Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

    Tap Configure Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 9.

    Tap Network SSID

  • 10.

    Enter a name for your network. This is the name other devices will see when they search for your network

    Tap Password

  • 12.

    Enter a password. This is the password that will be have to be entered on devices wanting to connect to your network

    Tap Done

  • 14.

    Tap Save

  • 15.

    To disable the portable Wi-Fi hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 16.

    Tap Tethering or hotspot active

  • 17.

    Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
