  • 1.

    Attach a USB cable to your phone and to a free USB port on your PC

  • 2.

    Tap Install

  • 3.

    On your PC, click Run Startme.exe. Sony PC Companion will launch

    Note:     Depending on your security settings, you may be asked to verify that you wish to run the application. Click OK or Yes to continue

  • 4.

    Click the drop-down menu beside My Location

  • 5.

    Scroll to and click Canada

  • 6.

    Click Install

  • 7.

    Click I Accept

  • 8.

    The application will download and install

  • 9.

    To view the tutorial, click Start. Otherwise, click Skip

  • 10.

    Click Start under Media Go

  • 11.

    When Media Go has finished downloading, select your language and then click Next

  • 12.

    Click I accept the terms of this license agreement

  • 13.

    Click Next

  • 14. Click Next
  • 15.

    When the installation has finished, click Finish

  • 16.

    Click Next

  • 17. Click Next

  • 19.

    Click Finish

  • 20.

    Click the arrow beside Sony Xperia L

  • 21.

    Click Photos & Home Videos

  • 22.

    Select the photos and videos you wish to transfer to your PC

  • 23.

    Drag the files into the Library tab. The files will be transferred to your PC

    Note:     Sony PC Companion will create an icon on your desktop. The next time you attach your phone to your PC, double-click this icon to launch the application
