    In a text entry screen, tap a key once for the first letter, twice for the second letter and three times for the third letter. For example, tap the mno keyonce for M, twice for N, and three times for O

    Tap and hold a key to enter a number

    Tap the 1 key to enter a period

    Tap Space to enter a space

  • 5.

    Tap the Backspace Arrow to delete text

    Tap SYM to access symbols

    Tap Shift to toggle between lower and upper case letters

    To change the text entry method, tap abc

    To switch to predictive text, tap on of the options that begins with T9

    In predictive text entry mode, the phone tries to predicts the word you are typing based on the letters already entered

    While using this method, you only need to tap each letter once. For example, to type the word The, press 8 once then 4 once then 3 once

  • 12.

    If the word the phone predicts is the word you intended, tap Space to complete the word

  • 13.

    If the word predicted is not correct, tap the 0 key to scroll through different words

  • 14.

    Tap Space when you reach the correct word
