  • Wi-Fi hotspots enable other devices to connect to the Internet using your phone's wireless data connection
  • 1. From the home screen, tap Settings
  • 2. Tap Connections
  • 3. Tap Tethering and Mobile Hotspot
  • 4. Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot
  • 5. Tap OK
    Activating a mobile hotspot will turn Wi-Fi off
  • 6. Tap Mobile Hotspot
  • 7. Tap the Settings icon
  • 8. Enter a name for the network and then tap Next. This is the name that other devices will see when they search for available networks
  • 9. Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order for them to be able to connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 10. To deactivate the mobile hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 11. Swipe the settings icons bar to the left
  • 12. Tap Mobile Hotspot
