  • A Wi-Fi hotspot allows other devices to connect to the internet using your tablet’s mobile data or Wi-Fi network. This may increase your mobile data usage

    Swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 2.

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Connections

  • 4.

    Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering

  • 5.

    Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot

  • 6.

    Tap OK

    Turning a hotspot on will deactivate Wi-Fi until the hotspot is turned off

  • 7.

    Tap Mobile Hotspot

  • 8.

    Tap the Network’s name

  • 9.

    Enter a name for the network and then tap Save. This is the name that will be displayed on other devices searching for the network

  • 10.

    Tap Password

  • 11.

    Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on devices wishing to connect to the network

  • 12.

    To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 13.

    Tap the Mobile Hotspot notification

  • 14.

    Tap the status switch beside On
