    Swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap the Settings icon

    Tap Lock Screen and Security

  • 4.

    Tap Iris Scanner

  • 5.

    Tap Continue

  • 6.

    Tap an alternate unlock method. This is used in case your irises can’t be scanned or for security reasons, can’t be used. In this example, we will select PIN

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue

  • 8.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 9.

    Scroll down and tap OK

  • 10.

    Hold the phone about 30cm from your face and then tap Continue. If you are wearing glasses or contact lenses, the iris scanner will work best if they are removed

  • 11.

    Position your eyes in the circles and wait for your irises to be registered

  • 12.

    Swipe left to proceed through the tutorial

  • 13.

    Once you have finished reading the tutorial, tap OK

  • 14.

    Select your lock screen notification preferences and then tap Done

  • 15.

    To unlock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

  • 16.

    Swipe the screen in any direction

  • 17.

    Position the phone about 30cm from your face and look at the camera. The phone will unlock
