    Swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap the Settings icon

    Tap Connections

  • 4.

    Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering

  • 5.

    Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot

  • 6.

    Select whether you would like to use Wi-Fi sharing. In this example, we will select Disable Wi-Fi Sharing

    Tap OK

    Turning a mobile hotspot on will turn Wi-Fi off

  • 8.

    Tap Mobile Hotspot

  • 9.

    Tap Password

  • 10.

    Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that will need to be entered on other devices

    To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 12.

    Tap the Tethering or Hotspot Active notification

  • 13.

    Tap the status switch beside On to turn the hotspot off
