  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
  • 4. Tap Mobile Hotspot
  • 5. Tap Enable Wi-Fi Sharing
  • 6. Tap the status switch beside Off
  • 7. Tap More
  • 8. Tap Configure Mobile Hotspot
  • 9. Enter a name for the network. This is the name that other devices searching for the network will see
  • 10. Scroll down and tap Password
  • 11. Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order to connect to the network
  • 12. To turn a Wi-Fi hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 13. Tap the Tethering or Hotspot Active notification
  • 14. Tap the status switch beside On
