Using Do Not Disturb Mode
Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys
- Do Not Disturb mode mutes all, or selected calls and notifications
- 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
- 2. Swipe the quick settings icons to the left
- 3. Tap and hold Do Not Disturb
- 4. Tap the status switch beside Off. All calls and notifications will be muted
- 5. To set exceptions, tap Allow Exceptions
- 6. Tap the status switch beside Off
- 7. Tap the status switches beside the features you would like to override Do Not Disturb
- 8. To allow calls or messages from specific contacts, make sure the status switch beside Calls and/or Messages is turned on
- 9. Tap Calls and/or messages from
- 10. Tap the type of contacts you would like to be able to contact you. In this example, we will select Favourite contacts only
- 11. Tap the Back Key
- 12. To set specific times for Do Not Disturb to turn on, tap the status switch beside Set Schedule
- 13. Tap Days
- 14. Tap the check boxes beside the days you wish to include
- 15. Tap the Back Key
- 16. Tap Start Time
- 17. Scroll to the time you would like Do Not Disturb to turn on and then tap Done
- 18. Tap End Time
- 19. Scroll to the time you would like Do Not Disturb to turn off and then tap Done
- 20. To turn Do Not Disturb off, swipe down from the top of the screen
- 21. Tap Disable in the Do Not Disturb notification
