  • You can use your phone's data connection as a Wi-Fi hotspot which allows other devices to connect to the Internet
  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Tethering and Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 4. Tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 6. Tap OK
    Your phone will disconnect from any Wi-Fi networks it is connected to
  • 7. Tap the menu icon
  • 8. Tap Configure
  • 9. Enter a name for the network. This is the name that other devices will see when connecting to the network
  • 10. Tap Password
  • 11. Enter a password. This is the password that will need to be entered on other devices
  • 12. Tap Save
  • 13. To disable a Wi-FI hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 14. Tap Tethering or Hotspot Active
  • 15. Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 16. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
