Backing Up Your Phone’s Contacts and Data

Note: Your phone can automatically back up your data to your Google account. You must be signed into your Google account to back up your data. If you haven't set up a Google account yet, you can do so in the Accounts section of the settings menu
1. From the home screen, press the Menu key
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Accounts
4. Tap Backup and Reset
5. Make sure the check box beside Back Up My Data is checked. The data you selected to back up when you added your Google account will automatically sync
