  • 1. Press and hold the Power/Lock key
  • 2. Tap Power Off
  • 3. Tap OK to turn the phone off
  • 4. Remove the battery cover by lifting up from the bottom of the cover and lifting it away from the phone
  • 5. Remove the battery
  • 6. Insert the SIM Card with the metal contacts facing down and the cut-away corner facing the bottom of the phone
  • 7. Replace the battery
  • 8. Replace the battery cover
  • 9. Press and hold the Power/Lock key to turn the phone back on
