Taking Photos
Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys
- 1. From the home screen, tap Apps
- 2. Tap Camera
- 3. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in and out
- 4. Tap to focus on area
- 5. To turn the flash on, tap the Flash icon
- 6. Tap your desired flash option
- 7. To change the image resolution, tap the Settings icon
- 8. Scroll down and tap Resolution
- 9. Tap your desired resolution
- 10. Tap a blank area of the screen to return to the camera
- 11. To add an effect to the image, tap the Effects icon
- 12. Tap the effect you wish to use
- 13. Tap the Camera icon to take a photo
- 14. To view your image, tap the thumbnail
- 15. Swipe left and right to scroll through your photos
- 16. Tap the Back key to return to the camera
- 17. Best Photo takes a series of photos and then determines which is the best image. To access this mode, tap the Shooting Mode icon
- 18. Tap Best Photo
- 19. Tap the Camera icon to take a series of photos
- 20. The image the camera thinks is the best will be highlighted. Tap Save to choose this photo. The rest will be deleted. You can save multiple photos by tapping and holding on thumbnails
- 21. Best Face takes a series of photos of a group of people and then allows you to choose the best pose for each person. To access this mode, tap the Shooting Mode icon
- 22. Tap Best Face
- 23. Frame your group so that everyone's face is covered by a square and then tap the Camera icon. A series of photos will be taken
- 24. Tap on a person's face to view all of the images of their face
- 25. Tap the example you wish to use. The camera will blend the chosen image into the main image
- 26. Do this for the rest of the people in the group and then tap Save
- 27. Panorama stitches together a sequence of shots to create one large image. To access this mode, tap the Shooting Mode icon
- 28. Tap Panorama
- 29. Tap the Camera icon and then move the camera slowly and steadily to the left or right, or up or down. The camera will take a photo every time it reaches a certain point.
- 30. Tap the Camera icon to stop the panorama
- 31. The HDR (High Dynamic Range) feature captures three images simultaneously and combines the best parts of each image to create one photo with optimal exposure throughout. To access this mode, tap the Shooting Mode icon
- 32. Scroll down and tap HDR
- 33. Tap the Camera icon to take a photo
- 34. Low Light mode enables you to take photos in poor lighting without having to use the flash. To access this mode, tap the Shooting Mode icon
- 35. Scroll down and tap Low Light
- 36. Tap the Camera icon to take a photo
