  • 1. From the home screen tap Settings

    Note:     If the Settings icon has been removed from the home screen, you can access it by tapping the Menu key and then Settings
  • 2. Scroll down and tap Lock Screen
  • 3. Tap Screen Lock
  • 4. Tap the screen unlock method you'd like to use. In this example, we will select PIN
  • 5. Enter your PIN and then tap Continue
  • 6. Confirm your PIN and then tap OK
  • 7. Tap Lock Automatically
  • 8. Tap the interval after which you would like the phone to lock after the screen goes to sleep
  • 9. The next time your phone locks, press the Power/Lock key
  • 10. Enter your PIN and then tap OK
