  • With Edge Lighting enabled, notifications will be replaced by the edge of the screen lighting up

    Swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Display

  • 4.

    Scroll down and tap Edge Screen

  • 5.

    Make sure the status switch beside Edge Lighting is turned on

  • 6.

    To customize Edge Lighting, tap Edge Lighting

  • 7.

    Select when you would like Edge Lighting to be displayed. In this example, we will select Always

  • 8.

    To change the appearance of the lighting effect, tap Edge Lighting Style

  • 9.

    Tap Effect

  • 10.

    Tap the effect you wish to use

  • 11.

    To change the colour of the effect, tap Colour

  • 12.

    Tap the colour you wish to use

  • 13.

    When you have made all your changes, tap Apply

  • 14.

    The edge of the screen will light up when a notification arrives
