  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Advanced Features
  • 4. Tap S Pen
  • 5. Make sure the status switch beside Screen Off Memo is turned on
  • 6. With the screen turned off, remove the S Pen from its holder by pushing it inwards and letting it pop out
  • 7. Draw on the screen
  • 8. To save the memo, replace the S Pen. The memo will be saved to Samsung Notes
