  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Connections
  • 4. Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot
  • 6. Tap OK
    Turning a hotspot on will turn Wi-Fi off until you turn the hotspot off
  • 7. Tap Mobile Hotspot
  • 8. Tap Enable Wi-Fi Sharing
  • 9. Tap the network name
  • 10. Enter a name for the network and then tap Save. This is the name that other devices searching for the network will see
  • 11. Tap the password
  • 12. Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order to connect to the network
  • 13. To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 14. Tap Tethering or Hotspot Active
  • 15. Tap the status switch
