Using Your Phone as a Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

- You can use your phone's data connection as a Wi-Fi hotspot which allows other devices to connect to the Internet
- 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
- 2. Tap the Settings icon
- 3. Scroll down and tap Tethering and Wi-Fi Hotspot
- 4. Tap Mobile Hotspot
- 5. Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot
- 6. Tap OKYour phone will disconnect from any Wi-Fi networks it is connected to
- 7. Tap the menu icon
- 8. Tap Configure Hotspot
- 9. Enter a name for the network and then tap Password. This is the name that other devices will see when connecting to the network
- 10. Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that will need to be entered on other devices
- 11. To disable a Wi-FI hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
- 12. Tap Tethering/Mobile Hotspot Enabled
- 13. Tap Mobile Hotspot
- 14. Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot
