  • 1. Remove the S-Pen from the back of the phone
  • 2. You can control the phone with the S Pen the same way you control it with your finger. Tap on an item with the S Pen to open it
  • 3. Swipe left and right to change screens
  • 4. To access the S Pen settings, swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 5. Tap Settings
  • 6. Tap S Pen
  • 7. Tap on a setting to change it
  • 8. You can use the S Pen to enter text. In any text entry field, tap the S Pen icon
  • 9. Use the S Pen to enter your text
  • 10. Your handwritten text will be underlined. A space will be indicated by an indentation in the line. To enter additional words, use the S Pen to write text after an indentation
  • 11. Tap the Return icon to start a new line
  • 12. Tap the Keyboard icon to return to the keyboard
  • 13. When you are finished using the S Pen, place it back in the holder
