  • The fingerprint scanner allows you to unlock your phone using fingerprint recognition, or as an alternative to entering passwords
  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Finger Scanner
  • 4. Tap Fingerprint Manager
  • 5. Tap OK
  • 6. Swipe your finger from the bottom of the screen over the Home Button
  • 7. Repeat this until all of the circles have lit up
  • 8. If you would like to register additional fingerprints, tap Register. Otherwise, tap Done
  • 9. Enter a password and then tap Continue. This password will be used in the event that your fingerprint is not recognized
  • 10. Re-enter the password and then tap OK
  • 11. Tap OK
  • 12. The next time your phone locks, press the Power/Lock Key
  • 13. Swipe your finger down over the Home Button
    If your fingerprint cannot be recognized, tap Enter Backup Password and enter your password to unlock your phone
