Using Find My Mobile to Find, Lock and Wipe Your Phone

From the home screen, press the Menu Key

Tap Settings
- 3.
Tap General
- 4.
Scroll down and tap Security
- 5.
Tap Remote Controls
- 6.
Tap OK
- 7.
Tap the + icon beside Add Account
- 8.
Tap Sign In
Note: If you do not have a Samsung account, tap Create New Account and follow the steps - 9.
Enter the email address associated with your Samsung account and then tap Next
- 10.
Enter your password and then tap Sign In
- 11.
Tap the status switch beside Remote Controls
- 12.
In a web browser, go to http://findmymobile.samsung.com
- 13.
Click inside the E-mail field
- 14.
Enter your email address and then click inside the Password field
- 15. Enter your password and then click Sign In
- 16.
Click Locate My Mobile
- 17.
The current location of your phone will be displayed on the map
- 18.
To lock your phone, click Lock My Mobile
- 19.
Click inside the first text box
- 20.
Enter a message you would like to be displayed on the lock screen of your phone
- 21.
Click inside the second text box
- 22.
Enter a phone number that can be called from the lock screen
- 23.
Click inside the third text box
- 24.
Enter an unlock PIN. This is the PIN that will need to be entered to unlock your phone
- 25.
Click Lock
- 26.
To unlock your phone, press the Power/Lock Key
- 27.
Enter the PIN and then tap OK
- 28.
To wipe your phone, click Wipe My Mobile
- 29.
Select Factory Data Reset
- 30.
Click the check box beside I agree to the terms and conditions
- 31.
Click inside the Login Password field
- 32.
Enter your Samsung account login password
- 33.
Click Wipe
- 34.
Click OK
