From the home screen, press the Menu Key

Tap Settings

Tap Device

Tap Lock Screen

Tap Screen Lock

Tap the screen lock method you wish to use. In this example, we will select PIN

Enter a PIN and then tap Continue
8.
Confirm the PIN and then tap OK
9.
Tap Lock Automatically
10.
Tap the interval after which you would like the phone to lock after the screen goes to sleep
11.
When the phone locks, press the Power/Lock key
12.
Enter your PIN and then tap OK
