    From the home screen, press the Menu Key

    Tap Settings

    In the Connections tab, tapTethering and Portable Hotspot

  • 4.

    Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 5.

    Tap OK

  • 6.

    Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 7.

    Tap Configure

  • 8.

    Enter a network SSID for the network. This is the name that other devices will see when they search for Wi-Fi networks

  • 9.

    Tap Password

  • 10.

    Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that will be required for other devices to connect to the Wi-Fi network

  • 11.

    To turn portable Wi-Fi hotspot off, from the home screen, press the Menu Key

  • 12.

    Tap Settings

  • 13.

    In the Connections tab, tapTethering and Portable Hotspot

  • 14.

    Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
