  • 1. From the home screen, swipe left
  • 2. Tap Settings

    Note: If the Settings icon has been removed from the Home screen, you can access settings by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the Settings icon next to the date
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Security
  • 4. Tap Screen Lock
  • 5. Tap Face Unlock
  • 6. Tap Set it up
  • 7. Position the phone so that your face is in the centre of the dots and wait for the phone to capture your face
  • 8. Tap Continue
  • 9. In instances where Face Unlock can't see your face you will be provided with a backup unlock method. Tap the method you would like to use. In this example, we will select PIN
  • 10. Enter a PIN and then tap Continue
  • 11. Confirm the PIN and then tap OK
  • 12. When the phone locks, press the Power/Lock key
  • 13. Position your face in the center of the screen and wait for the phone to unlock

    Note: If the phone can't see your face you will be asked to use your backup unlock method
