  • 1. From the home screen, tap Messaging

    Note: If the Messaging icon has been removed from the Home screen, you can access Messages from the Application Launcher
  • 2. Tap the New Message icon
  • 3. To send the message to a number in your address book, enter the first few letters of the contact's name and then tap the name in the displayed list
  • 4. To send the message to a number that is not in your address book, tap inside the To field
  • 5. Tap $123
  • 6. Enter the number you wish to send the message to
  • 7. Tap Type Message
  • 8. Enter the text of your message and then tap the Send icon
