    Swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap the Settings icon

    Tap Connections

    Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering

  • 5.

    Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot

  • 6.

    Tap OK

    When your mobile hotspot is turned on, Wi-Fi will be disabled

    Tap Mobile Hotspot

  • 8.

    Tap the device name

  • 9.

    Enter a name for your network and then tap Save. This is the name that other devices will see when searching for the network

  • 10.

    Tap the Password

  • 11.

    Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password than must be entered on other devices

  • 12.

    To turn a portable hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 13.

    Tap the Tethering or Hotspot Active notification

  • 14.

    Tap the status switch beside On
