Using the Secure Folder
Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys
Data, files and apps stored in the Secure Folder are separate from those stored outside of the Secure Folder and require identity confirmation to access.

Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger

Tap the Settings icon

Scroll down and tap Security
- 4.
Tap Secure Folder
- 5.
Tap Next
- 6.
Tap Start
- 7.
Tap Confirm to sign in to your Samsung account
If you have not added your Samsung account to the phone already, you will need to do so now
- 8.
Select a secure lock type. In this example, we will choose PIN
- 9.
Tap Next
- 10.
Enter a PIN and then tap Continue. The PIN must be between 4 and 16 digits
- 11.
Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK. The PIN must be the same as the one entered in the previous step
- 12.
The apps available in the Secure Folder will be displayed. Tap on one to open it

To include more apps, tap Add Apps
- 14.
Select the apps you would like to include and then tap Add
- 15.
Tap Add Files to upload files to the Secure Folder
- 16.
Tap the type of file you would like to upload. In this example, we will select Images
- 17.
Tap the images you would like to upload and then tap Done
- 18.
You can choose to copy or move the files. Copying the file will create a duplicate version in the Secure Folder. If you move the file, it will be deleted from its original folder. We will select Copy

Tap Lock to lock the Secure Folder
- 20.
To access the Secure Folder, swipe the home screen upwards
- 21.
Tap Secure Folder
- 22.
Enter your PIN and then tap OK
