  • You can use your phone's data connection as a Wi-Fi hotspot which allows other devices to connect to the Internet
  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Tethering and Mobile Hotspot
  • 4. Tap Mobile Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot
  • 6. Tap OK
    Your phone will disconnect from any Wi-Fi networks it is connected to
  • 7. Tap the menu icon
  • 8. Tap Configure Hotspot
  • 9. Enter a name for the network and then tap Password. This is the name that other devices will see when connecting to the network
  • 10. Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that will need to be entered on other devices
  • 11. To disable a Wi-FI hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 12. Tap Tethering/Hotspot Active
  • 13. Tap Mobile Hotspot
  • 14. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
