Using Your Phone as a Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

You can use your phone's data connection as a Wi-Fi hotspot which allows other devices to connect to the Internet
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
2. Tap the Settings icon
3. Tap Tethering and Mobile Hotspot
4. Tap Mobile Hotspot
5. Tap the status switch beside Mobile Hotspot
6. Tap OK
Your phone will disconnect from any Wi-Fi networks it is connected to
7. Tap the menu icon
8. Tap Configure Hotspot
9. Enter a name for the network and then tap Password. This is the name that other devices will see when connecting to the network
10. Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that will need to be entered on other devices
11. To disable a Wi-FI hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
12. Tap Tethering/Hotspot Active
13. Tap Mobile Hotspot
14. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
