Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys

  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Multi Window
  • 4. Tap the status switch beside Multi Window
  • 5. To access Multi Window, tab the Multi Window Tab
  • 6. Drag an application into one half of the screen
  • 7. Drag another application into the other half of the screen
  • 8. You can resize the applications by dragging the window frame circle up or down
  • 9. To replace an app, tap the Multi Window Tab
  • 10. Drag an application over the one you wish to replace
  • 11. To swap the positions of the two on-screen apps, tap the window frame circle
  • 12. Tap the swap screens icon
  • 13. To take text from one screen and copy it to the other, tap the window frame circle
  • 14. Tap the Copy icon
  • 15. Tap and hold on the text you wish to add to the second application
  • 16. Drag it over the second application
  • 17. To close one of the screens, tap the window frame circle
  • 18. Tap the X
  • 19. To exit Multi Window, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 20. Tap the Settings icon
  • 21. Scroll down and tap Multi Window
  • 22. Tap the status switch beside Multi Window
