  • The Setup Assistant will guide you through the setup process for your phone

    Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

  • 2.

    Tap the Language

  • 3.

    Tap the language you wish to use

  • 4.

    Tap OK

    Tap the arrow

  • 6.

    Tap I have read and agree to all of the above.

    Tap Next

  • 8.

    If you would like transfer data from a previous backup, select either Wireless or Cable and USB connector. Otherwise tap Skip this for now

    Tap Next

  • 10.

    If you would like to connect to a Wi-Fi network, tap Turn On Wi-Fi

  • 11.

    Tap the network you wish to connect to

  • 12.

    If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect

  • 13.

    If you would like to turn Wi-Fi Calling on, tap OK

  • 14.

    Tap Next

  • 15.

    To add your Google account, tap Email or Phone

    If you do not have a Google account, you can tap Skip, or tap Create Account to set one up

  • 16.

    Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Google account and then tap Next

  • 17.

    Enter your password and then tap Next

  • 18.

    Tap I Agree

  • 19.

    If you would like to restore from a previous backup, select the backup you wish to use. Otherwise tap Don’t Restore

  • 20.

    Select the security method you wish to use. In this example, we will select Fingerprints

  • 21.

    Tap Continue

  • 22.

    Select a screen unlock method. This will be used in instances when your fingerprint cannot be read or additional verification is required. In this example, we will select PIN

  • 23.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue. The PIN must be at least 4 digits

  • 24.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 25.

    Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor and then lift it off

  • 26.

    Continue to lift and place your fingerprint on the sensor until it has been read

  • 27.

    If you would like to add more fingerprints, tap Add. Otherwise tap Next

  • 28.

    Tap Continue

  • 29.

    Scroll down and tap Accept

  • 30.

    Choose the apps you would like to install and then tap OK

  • 31.

    Select any additional apps you would like to download and then tap Next

  • 32.

    To sign into your Samsung account, tap Email or Phone Number

  • 33.

    Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Samsung account and then tap Password

  • 34.

    Enter your password and then tap Sign In

  • 35.

    Tap I agree to all

  • 36.

    Tap Next

  • 37.

    If you would like to restore data from a previous Samsung device, tap the backup you wish to use. Otherwise, tap Skip

  • 38.

    Tap Finish to complete the setup
