    From the home screen, tap Messages

    Tap the contact you wish to send the message to

    Tap Start

  • 5.

    To send the message to a number that isn’t in your contacts, tap Search Contacts or Enter Number

  • 6.

    Enter the number you wish to send the message to and then tap the + icon

  • 7.

    Tap Start

  • 8.

    Enter the text of your message and then tap Send
