Using Do Not Disturb Mode
Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys
- When your phone is in Do Not Disturb mode, all calls and alerts, other than your selected exceptions, will be muted
- 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
- 2. Tap the Settings icon
- 3. Tap Sounds and Notifications
- 4. Scroll down and tap Do Not Disturb
- 5. Tap the status switch beside Do Not Disturb
- 6. Tap Allow Exceptions
- 7. Tap the features you would like to allow while Do Not Disturb mode is turned on
- 8. To allow calls or messages from specific contacts, make sure that Calls and Messages are turned on
- 9. Tap Call and/or Messages From
- 10. Tap the type of contacts you want to be able to receive calls and messages from while Do Not Disturb mode is turned on. In this example, we will select Favourite Contacts Only
- 11. Tap the Back Key
- 12. To set specific times for Do Not Disturb mode to be enabled, tap Set Schedule
- 13. Tap Days
- 14. Tap the days you would like Do Not Disturb mode to be enabled
- 15. Tap Done
- 16. Tap Start Time
- 17. Swipe up and down to set the start time and then tap Done
- 18. Tap End Time
- 19. Swipe up and down to set the end time and then tap Done
- 20. To disable Do Not Disturb mode, swipe down from the top of the screen
- 21. Tap Disable in the Do Not Disturb notification
