1. From the Start screen, scroll down and tap Settings
2. Tap Airplane Mode
3. Tap the status switch beside Off
4. To deactivate airplane mode, from the Start screen, scroll down and tap Settings
5. Tap Airplane Mode
6. Tap the status switch beside On
