  • 1. From the home screen, tap Email

    Note:     If the Email icon has been removed from the home screen, you can access it via the application launcher
  • 2. Enter your email address and then tap Next

    Note:     Most web-based email accounts can be added. If your address is not recognized, you will need to contact your email provider and request the relevant log-in information and then tap Manual Setup. If you use Gmail, use the Gmail app instead
  • 3. Enter your email account's password and then tap Next
  • 4. Choose your email settings and then tap Done
  • 5. A list of operations the email app will perform will be displayed. Tap Activate to continue
  • 6. Enter a name for your email account and then tap Next
  • 7. The next time you launch email you will be taken directly to your inbox. To compose an email, tap the + icon
  • 8. Enter the recipient's email address
  • 9. Tap Subject
  • 10. Enter the subject of the email
  • 11. Tap the text entry field
  • 12. Enter the text of your email and then tap Send
